Cuba-Manzanillo - April 17-25, 2026

  • Lying on the Gulf of Guacanayabo, Manzanillo has around 120,000 residents.
  • Cuba still remains one of the few communistic countries in the world, so religion is monitored, as well as internet access. Civil liberties are very restricted among residents.
  • While around 50-60% of Cubans are Catholics, a vast majority practice the demonic and prominent cult of Santeria.
  • Santería is a syncretic faith, blending Yoruba spiritual practices (from West African slaves) with Catholic saints, which involves animal sacrifices, dance, and divination rituals.
  • 10 participants have been requested to join in this partnership to bring the Good News to Cuba.
