While in Peru, our team leader asked us a question: "What Bible verse have you seen come to life this week?"

I really saw [1 Peter 4:10] come to life by growing close to my three translators for the week. All three girls were young college students who served alongside me and my teammate the entire week, spending all day every day translating. Without knowing it, all three of them were using their gifts to serve the Lord!

At the very beginning of the week, one of my translators (Angie) accepted Christ into her heart for the very first time after accompanying us on a few home visits. Throughout the week, she continued to watch us share our testimonies, use the EvangeCube to share the gospel and lead people in praying to accept Christ into their hearts. By the end of the week, Angie began giving the gospel presentation in homes, sharing Jesus through the EvangeCube, and she started leading people in prayer to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

At the very end of the week, Angie spoke in front of a crowd of over six-hundred people and shared her experiences of how her life was changed from being a translator throughout the week. Getting to see a new baby Christian being so bold in their faith was such an encouragement to me!
