"As women arrived at the church, we welcomed them with big smiles and passed out drinks. We started the program with 2 songs and you could see the joy on their faces as they sung enthusiastically.

Then, our woman’s leader spoke to the ladies and gave them a special lesson about how to live a victorious life and how to trust the Lord in everything because He cares for each one of them. We told them, 'Even though you feel no one appreciates you, no matter what you do, don’t forget that the Lord has prepared a special reward for you in heaven, for you are going to be a pillar in His temple and the Lord will give you a new and special name. So, if you are not happy with your name here on earth, don’t worry, for a new name is written for you in glory!'

Afterward we shared testimonies and prayed with them and 6 ladies came up to the front to ask for prayer and salvation. One woman was in so much pain she could not raise up her hand or arms asked for prayer for healing and Jesus healed her immediately from the pain in her head and body! She exclaimed, 'Thank you Jesus, I am healed! And thank you for praying for me!'

Next, we had a discussion about different questions they had about the Bible. We talked about eternal life, heaven being our permanent home, and how God made salvation possible only through the acceptance of His precious son, Jesus. After this, 7 more ladies raised their hands indicating they wanted salvation.

Thank the Lord for these new Sisters in Christ who prayed to accept the Lord as their Savior! After giving each of them a new Bible, we talked to them about their new responsibility to share their experience of new life with Jesus with one or two individuals in their surroundings. We encouraged them to start praying and asking the Lord to open doors to share the gospel with them. Even if it takes nine months of patience and perseverance, as we did with them on our Operation Andrew cards, their faith and trust in God is the key to all of it."
