"Maria was once full of energy and laughter and was well known for her cheerful spirit. However, things changed in her life when an unidentified sickness slowly began to steal her strength, appetite, and often, her hope. She visited countless doctors, tried dozens of treatments, and yet the pain of a constant ache in her body remained.

Night after night, she cried into her pillow, asking the same question: why me?

When our team visited her homestead where she is staying with her family, she was in a hopeless state. They shared the Gospel with her and the family. She woke up from her bed and said in a strong voice- "I need Jesus in my life. He is the only hope that has remained for me."

The family was surprised because for a long time Maria would not wake up on her own, and later on, she spoke with such a loud, forceful voice. The whole family was amazed and they also believed in the power of God.

All 8 family members, including Maria, gave their lives to the Lord!!
