N2N Story: Hostility No Match for the Gospel
In a country where Christians cannot openly share the Gospel, this strict Middle Eastern country gives no freedom to its residents. Any attempt at revival is met with government hostility. Many Christians live in fear of sharing the Gospel, but God has been raising up bold laborers willing to walk by faith through the hostility.
During this N2N, two young men were sitting in a coffee shop when they overheard two people discussing Jesus at a table nearby. One of the men listening in inquired about how he could have a Bible. The man kindly offered to send him some Bibles.
The man started to read the Bible, and after about 3 months called the believer who sent him a Bible and told him he wanted to learn more about this Jesus, because in the Bible there is love and peace, which is nowhere in the Quran. He decided he wanted to raise his children in this religion. The believer told him this wasn't simply a religion to follow, but a personal relationship with God Himself.
He shared the message of salvation with him and the man became more convinced than ever before that he must follow Jesus and tell others about Him!
Praise God for this transformation! The other man who was with him is now reading the Bible but has yet to follow Jesus in obedience. Pray that he, too, will come to faith in Christ.
