Last month, a team of 9 Americans traveled to Cuba to partner with churches to share the gospel. With much enthusiasm upon his return, IC Leader Gary shares this story with you:

"It was the last Friday of the trip and we visited a home where our interpreter's mother is the house cleaner. I was able to share with the wealthy lady of the (very nice) home whose name is Magali. She is in a desperate situation with her health: thrombosis in both legs, wearing compression socks, and her state of mind is one of depression over what is happening with her health.

Thank you, God for setting up a divine opportunity for me! You see, I too, had a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) in my leg many years ago and still take medication today. Because of our shared experience, I was able to create a genuine connection that opened the door for me to tell Magali that the Savior of the world wants a relationship with her!  Jesus loves her, has compassion for her, and knows what she is going through. That very day, Magali, and her dad, Antonio, gave their hearts and souls to Jesus!!

Sometimes we don't know why we go through certain hardships, but we praise God for how He orchestrates divine appointments for us as we go and share the Good News and HE gets all the Glory!!"
