Women eager to receive in an atheistic country
In May of this year, Rick S. from Texas joined a team in ministering to lost souls in the Czech Republic, a place that many consider one of the most atheistic countries in Europe. Here is his testimony of God's saving power still alive and desired by those in this world.
Halfway through the week of evangelism, Rick had an appointment to meet with a lady in the churchyard. The pastor translated as this woman told how she has always felt close to God, but never believed she was 'saved'. Rick explained God's plan of salvation and asked her if she understood the gift of forgiveness that Jesus made available to her by His death on the cross. She said she understood and that she wanted that gift by accepting Christ as her savoir. Later that night, Rick told his team leader he had never met someone so eager to receive Christ!
There are many great stories to tell and many victories to celebrate! We know that the Gospel was Boldly Proclaimed and presented to many people in their homes, churches, coffee shops, and even a prison! May God be praised!
